Fun Facts
They are a real claim to fame due to their ability to kill and eat other snakes including venomous species like cottonmouths and rattle snakes.
Because of their natural immunity to pit-viper venom, the bite from a venomous snake has little effect on them.
Their diet consists of other snakes, mice, rats, and other small rodents.
California king snakes can grow up to 4 to 6 feet.
