Birds

Bald Eagle

Eagles can fly at an altitude of 10,000 feet and reach speeds of 35 miles per hour.

Great Horned Owl

Owls weigh approximately 2 to 4 pounds with a wingspan of 36 to 60 inches (3 to 5 feet).

Harris Hawk

Harris Hawks hunt cooperatively in pairs, trios or up to five individuals. The hawks surround their prey, flush it for another to catch, or take turns chasing it, making them more successful at capturing prey than individuals.

Peafowl

Peafowl eat grains, insects, small reptiles and small mammals and weight 2 to 13 pounds.

Red Tail Hawk

The red tailed hawk population is estimated to be over 1 million in the United States

Turkey

Turkeys are herbivores, eating primarily plants, seeds, and berries.

Turkey Vulture

A turkey vulture weighs approximately 6 pounds and has a wingspan of 72 inches (6 feet).
