Mammals

Alpaca

Alpacas are the smallest domesticated camelid species.

American Beaver

American Beavers are primarily herbivores, feeding on leaves, woody stems, and aquatic plants.

American Elk

Elk are members of the deer family, which also include moose and caribou.

Goat

The Phillips Park Zoo is home to both Anglo-Nubian and Boer goats.

Gray Wolf

A wolf's lifespan is about 12 years in the wild, and up to 16 in captivity.

Highland Cattle

Highlands are widely regarded as the hardiest breed of cattle.
