Wolf

The wolf is the largest member of the canine family, and can grow to be 6 feet long, and weigh between 55 and 150 pounds! Wolves live to be about 12 years old in the wild, and up to 16 in captivity.

Elk

The Phillips Park Zoo is home to 3 adult female elk. Their well-forested enclosure is located on the east side of the zoo. You can often see these majestic deer from the observation deck overlooking their enclosure and the pond it contains. They share their home with many native ducks that also seek shelter inside their enclosure.

Highland Cattle

The Phillips Park Zoo has two female highland cows, April and Leslie. These charismatic cattle have called the zoo home since 2020.
